Find-A-Dentist Terms of Use

The Find-a-Dentist search engine is compiled and published by the Academy of Laser Dentistry. It is intended as a resource for patients to ALD members using lasers for patient care. It is also a resource for member dentists and hygienists to find other members when a patient moves.

Use of the ALD Find-a-Dentist resource is subject to the following Terms and Conditions of Use:

The Find-a-Dentist resource may be used by consumers and dental professionals to find certain information about ALD member dentists, such as office location, telephone number, office hours, laser certification levels, practice specialty and practice description, etc. This feature, however, is not a referral service.

The Find-a-Dentist resource and/or any of its data, listings or other constituent elements may not be downloaded, republished, resold or duplicated, in whole or in part, for commercial or any other purposes, or for purposes of compiling mailing lists or other lists of dentists. The use of the Find-a-Dentist resource to establish independent files of statistical information is prohibited.

Although the ALD undertakes reasonable efforts to keep the information contained in resource accurate, the information is not guaranteed and no responsibility is assumed for errors or omissions. The ALD does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of the information contained in this resource; nor does the ALD in any way endorse the individuals described in the resource or the services they may provide. The ALD does not sponsor or endorse any particular products, services, or treatments that may be listed in the data posted by member dentists and hygienists.

The ALD does not verify whether a dentist described in the resource as a "specialist" limits his or her practice to that specialty. In no event shall the ALD be liable to you or anyone else for any decision made or action taken by you in reliance on information contained in the resource.
